Ross Chewning, DVMRoss Chewning, DVM grew up in small town Georgia, just west of Atlanta. His interest in agriculture began at a young age, helping his grandfather raise Hereford cattle and assisting with hay and row cropping. He completed his undergraduate degree in animal science at Berry College in Rome, Georgia and, upon graduation, travelled the Southeast working mostly in bovine reproduction. Soon after, he began his doctorate at the University of Georgia: College of Veterinary Medicine. Ross has worked as a Large Animal Veterinarian in southwest Montana since 2017.
"Aside from the joys of delivering a live calf, lessening the pains of a colicky horse, or watching the fluorescent dance of a fetus on ultrasound imagery, one of the greatest pleasures of my job is developing strong relationships with clientele." -Ross |
